We’re excited to announce that Fresno’s M.E.A.L. is joining the COMMON SPACE family!
Fresno’s M.E.A.L. was launched three years ago to create a unique experience with homeless individuals in Downtown Fresno. The way we do that is through homemade meals packaged full of items that homeless individuals on the streets of Fresno need. Since that day three years ago, Fresno’s M.E.A.L. has brought together over 1,000 volunteers and given over 6,000 meals into the hands of homeless individuals. We bring people together.
COMMON SPACE is a new idea opening up in Downtown Fresno with the goal in the next two years to be a 7,000 square foot nonprofit hub. We are excited to be one of the first two programs joining their mission to create and collaborate new ideas for our Central Valley region.
What does this mean for you? To start: an alternative space to collect items to be able to give more to homeless individuals. There’s a potential for more events, more opportunities for volunteers to be engaged, and a space where we can continue to develop more in the Meals Engaging All Lives experience.
We will continue to operate as a standalone program, so volunteers will still have the Fresno’s M.E.A.L. experience.
Join us on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at COMMON SPACE for the grand opening to the beginning of a great future. Click here for the event details.
Let's begin the next chapter,
